Self-Guided Study of Math Through Books - High School & College Level

Recent trends in graphic presentation lean toward photographs and short texts arranged in creative patterns of loosely associated topics.  The Schaums Outline Series, published by McGraw Hill, takes a different approach.  The topics within each book are presented in a logical sequence, clearly listed in the table of contents. Each section of the book is organized around a concise presentation of information followed by a large number of problems that allow you to apply what you've just learned.  The correct answers are also provided. 

Using a Schaums Outline Series for self-guided study is well suited to the hard-working confident student eager to develop objective math skills, or review and reinforce a field that is already somewhat familiar.  This approach might add a welcome structure and stimulus for high school and college students whose in-class math educations have been slowed down by the pandemic.
